John retired as the Chairman, President and CEO of Coltec Industries in 1999 after merging his company with Goodrich Corporation. Being an avid boater and golfer, he and his wife, Monique, chose to relocate from Oxford, Maryland to Colleton River Plantation in Bluffton, South Carolina in July, 2008. While making several modifications to his new home, he was encouraged by his contractor to foam his attic to provide a more comfortable and efficient ambient temperature and his crawl space to seal out moisture as a preventative measure for any interior floor damage due to moisture and to also make the HVAC ductwork more efficient. This improvement was contracted to Energy One, LLC. John was so very pleased with results of the applied insulation and impressed with the equipment and personnel of Energy One that he decided to purchase the company and relocate it from Claxton, Georgia to Bluffton, South Carolina in October 2008. John also opened up a branch in Charlotte, North Carolina. John takes great pride in being the very best in the business of providing the proper spray foam insulation to both new construction, existing residential homes and commercial buildings.

Clayton Colleran
Clayton is a southern Beaufort County native and received a degree in Marketing from Clemson University. He has spent his entire professional career in the real estate and construction industry, with a specialized focus in green building practices. As construction project manager, Clayton oversaw completion of the first LEED for Homes project on Hilton Head Island. In 2011 he joined Energy One America as sales representative and manager of operations. His unique marketing skills, combined with a comprehensive understanding of the green construction industry, help to position Energy One America as the leading foam insulation contractor in Beaufort County and beyond. He resides in his hometown of Bluffton, with his wife Grayson and daughter Avalyn.

Kristie joined the Energy One team in March 2010. Prior to joining the Energy One team, Kristie was the Office Administrator at Estate Builders for 5 years. At Energy One, Kristie serves as our Administrator of Operations, she is in charge of all office activities such as Accounting, Marketing, Ordering, Scheduling and Customer Relations for the company. Kristie resides in Bluffton, SC with her Marine husband Skip and her daughter Ashley and son Alex as well as their 3 dogs and 3 cats.

Brian joined the Energy One America team in 2011 after relocating back to the Lowcountry after ten years in Charlotte, NC as Director of Sales and Marketing for two prominent home builders in the Charlotte market. During his time in homebuilding industry, Brian was influential in building relationships with prominent vender partners leading to the implementation of changes such as effective insulation products, high-efficient HVAC equipment, and overall tighter construction. Changes such as these led to his company’s homes becoming more energy efficient and eventually earning the prestigious ENERGY STAR® rating. With his extensive sales and marketing background in the home building industry he is an excellent fit at Energy One America. Brian is a graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia and currently resides in Hilton Head Island
